A friend of mine introduced me to his fixed gear bike about two years ago, and then I had to have one.

'86 Raleigh Grand Prix

My first road bike, was abandoned, ugly and falling apart. I managed to get it for free and converted it to a single speed. I installed new Alex rims with unknown sealed single/fixed hubs, new seat, bar tape, and tires. Rides great, Renyolds 531 frame, light and quick.

'78 Univega Gran Turismo

Got this one super cheap from work. Again in bad shape and falling apart. Pulled everything off and grabbed my wheelset from the Raleigh to make it a fixed gear. Kept the awesome French Ideale leather seat, stripped everything else. Was running brakeless and with the naked chopped bars, but the ride was rough, and I wanted a front brake. I rigged up the old front, but I want a newer front brake.
